Symposium abstract

This symposium presents four papers that address different facets of stochastic education: statistics and probability and their interactions. Stochastic education is essential in a world governed by data. Learning to interpret statistical information, to manage the uncertainty inherent to chance and to make decisions that combine both aspects is an educational objective of citizenship. Therefore, we will address different aspects of stochastic education that focus, above all, on the initial training of teachers who will teach mathematics.
